FAQs

Q. How do I login/access the app?

Make sure you are first registered for the event. Only registered attendees will receive their login instructions.

Exhibitors will be given access to the platform from February 4 to setup their booth and team members. All Attendees will be given access to the platform from February 19 to create their profile and begin networking.

To login you will be asked for the email used on registration + your confirmation number.

Q. Web Platform or Mobile App?

Grip is available both via your desktop computer (web platform) or via your mobile device (IOS or Android).

We recommend using the web platform pre-show, creating your profile and searching for your prospects to setup meetings.

We would then recommend using the mobile app version whilst onsite to manage your diary and continue networking.

To download the mobile app, search "AIME / MRO Middle East" on the app store or google play. If you already have the app installed, please ensure you update to the latest available version.

Q. What is Matched Networking?

Matched Networking is a fantastic way of being introduced to attendees who matter most to your business. On registration, the attendee is asked several profile building questions to define the attendee’s objectives for the event. The registration system is then able to match you to attendees who have a common business interest.

You will find a list of matches when you login to the event which you can access from 2 weeks before the event. You can take 3 types of action immediately on these matches:

  • Skip – this is an anonymous way to let the platform know this person is not of interest. They will be removed from your matches and the system will learn from this action.
  • Interested – like a handshake, this is where you can mark an attendee as someone of interest. It notifies them of your action and saves them in your “Interested” list.
  • Meeting – this will bring up a window to arrange a face-to-face meeting onsite.

Q. How does Badge Scanning work?

Whilst onsite you are able to scan an attendee badge to convert them into a “connection”. Note, badge scanning is only available via the mobile device.

EXHIBTORS: Make sure to take advantage of this Free Lead Retrieval Service. All your scanned badges will be converted to prospects, which you can export at the end of the show.

To scan a badge, follow these steps:

  1. Click “More”, then go to "QR / Badge Scanner"
  2. Hover your device camera over the badge to capture personal details
  3. A green box appears around the code when you're scanning.
  4. Once successfully scanned, you can tap on a person's name to open their profile
